Ayres Photography: Destination Portrait/Fashion Photographer 406-207-0301: New Shots and What is Coming Up.

It has been a long while since I posted anything on this blog. There are several reasons but mostly        because I have been deciding where I want to go with my photography and my business. So, A new site is being built, which will be available to look at soon. Along with the new site is a different pricing structure. Yes, I know, it's bad but I am raising my prices. Another thing that has changed is that I find myself drawn more and more to film and less to digital. Film has become a big part of my work and I am going to keep it this way. I will also be reorganizing this blog and giving it a new look. All this is coming in the next few months. For now I will just post a few of the shots I have taken lately. Hope you enjoy!  These are all shots taken on film.

I haven't Posted in Quite a while! Here are some Film Shots!

Well, been a while since I posted here A lot has happened in the last few months. I have become a father all over again and have started another business(as if I wasn't already too busy). I have made a few new friends and lost some too. Anyhow, life goes on and I think that is the way it is supposed to be. If you know me you understand that I love Film photography. I like digital, but love film. One thing that this new business has is allowing me to do is to shoot more film. It has always been hard to afford the film and developing because we have been on a tight budget, ya know with a family and all. Anyhow, it's nice to know that I can shoot more film and am able to pay for all the expenses that come with it.
So, if you area wondering what I am doing for my new business I will now tell you. I am teaching photography. Yep, I started a photography school right here in Missoula. It's going very well and I have new students enrolling every day. First I am teaching a basic photo course. I have some other photographers teaching photoshop and a few other classes too. I will soon be offering online courses too so if you are interested you have an option of taking a course in Missoula, or online.
Also, I am changing the pricing structure for my portrait business. I have to get it organized and then I will let you know what my pricing is. I'll tell you that you should be excited about it. It will be very good for anyone who wants to schedule a session with me. Anyhow I am going to stop writing so you can check out some of the film shots I got back from the lab today. Thanks for visiting and let's talk soon!

Missoula Family Portrait Photography/ The Johnson's

Missoula Family Portrait Photography/ The Johnson's

I should probably say good things about these guys, especially because these are shots of my family and I.

It's kinda funny because this was a hard session. It is a lot easier to photography other peoples children.

Anyhow, it was a fun day.Weird thing though. I had a family scheduled and they cancelled without talking to me. She said that it was too rainy and she wanted to wait for another day. I tried to call her back and left several messages but she hasn't gotten back to me. So, I photographed my family. I feel bad for her. It was a great day to shoot!

If you need family portraits or any type of portraits you can call or text me at 406-207-0301, or email us at ayresphotography@yahoo.com
